Last year the Sportoase swimming pool opened in Roeselare. The outdated Spillebad had to make way for a new swimming pool complex with numerous extra facilities. After a false start, with a fire in the sauna complex in the fitness changing room, the swimming pool was able to get back on track almost immediately. After four months, 90,000 visitors had been welcomed.

One constant

LTS, expert in timber construction, knows how to handle swimming pools and the associated challenges. It was therefore no surprise that they were asked to deliver and install the roof beams and purlins for the twenty-five meter pool, the learner’s pool and the recreational area.

Coloured finish

In order to blend the wooden components well into the whole, a colour finish was chosen. The roof beams and purlins were finished in white at the workshop in Moorslede.
